Makeup Do's and Don'ts!

Hey! Kat here, for a round of makeup do's and don't's! Recently, shoddy makeup has been a problem, especially with stardesign hair coming out. People just love contouring their face with those hairpieces! So anyways, on with the post.

DON'T overdo the mascara.

Look at that. It looks very fake!

How to fix it?

Pick eyes that, even with mascara, look natural. Also, only apply mascara on top. Don't apply mascara to maximum unless you really need to!

That looks better!

DON'T overdose on sparkles! 

We get it, you have money. There's no need to show it off! You look tacky.

How to fix it?

Pick one place to have Luxe- lips or eyes. Another subtle way to add sparkle is apply in under the eyes, so it doesn't show up on the lid, instead your eyes sparkle.

All three of these are good ways to solve a glittery overdose!

DON'T put lipgloss all over your lips! 

That looks very fake. Avoid it!

How to fix it?

Add lipgloss in the center and your cupids bow. Your lips will look much fuller :)

That's better!

AVOID the one color "smokey eye" and "panda eyes"

There's better ways to use black and white in a look.

How to fix it?

Don't go up to your eyebrows. That's tacky. Instead, fade one color into the next.

You can look great no matter how much eyeshadow you have!

Lookalike for ANY celebrity!

Sorry for my long absence! Darn school. Gets in the way of my online life. Well anywho, I'm going to teach you how to make a lookalike of any celebrity you want from one photo! I'll teach you how using Marilyn Monroe, but the possibilities are endless!

First, find a good picture of the celebrity, person or cartoon character you want to imitate.

Then reset your medoll to a basic face and add any jewelry you may need for the look, like Marilyn's beauty mark.

Now, pick the hair you want for the look. I put up a superstar and non superstar option.

Next change the face shape to one that looks like your person.

Change the eyes and their color. To figure out the right eyes, consider your person's ethnicity, how deep set their eyes are and what mood they put off.

 Next change the lips. Think about the mood they put out and the expression on their face most of the time.

 Last, do the eyebrows.

Do the makeup in the person's everyday style.

Just to show how this works, I did Robecca steam from that new campaign stardoll's doing, Monster High.

Rochelle Goyle, as well.

And just to top it off, Venus McFlytrap.

Young Hollywood In Starplaza?

Stardoll has accidentaly released some Young Hollywood clothes earlier than the expected...

Although, none of them shows up and they all cost 999 starcoins/stardollars.

It is possible to buy the items, but remember this is a glitch and Young Hollywood will probably be released only tomorrow!

Plus for now, if you buy them, they will NOT appear in your suite - watch out!!!

New Voile + Millionaire mansion fashion + msw store!

sorry i haven't posted for ages - i had a LOAD of homework!

Stardoll has released a new Voile. Here are the pictures:




When the last two floors came out there was a glitch but stardoll fixed it :( These floors are called Back to ballet school and there are a lot of tutus (which is not my style!) Also the general layout of Voile has changed on the last two floors. I prefer the first two floors better as well! I rate this 3.75/5

I actually love these floors! There are some ugly clothes but stardoll always released some, don't they? There are some really nice colours that they have used and a varieties of different styles. I am definitely going to put some of these clothes on my wishlist. 4.99/5

Stardoll has released another floor in the Miss Stardoll world store! Here is what it looks like:

I prefer this floor than the other floor. There is some starcoin stuff and i love how they have used yellow on that dress! I think they should have put more blue stuff in though seen as msw this year is blue so people want to wear blue dresses/tops! On this floor there is only one piece of item that is blue which are some shoes!!! I rate this floor 3.5/5!

New pets in Suite shop!

Stardoll has released some new pets in suite shop! After the dogs and the cats we now have monkeys! Here are what they look like:

They are 5-10 stardollars and there are some in starcoins as well! I usually love monkeys but some of these aren't actually that cute. I like nearly all of them on the first page but i don't like any on the second page! My favourite one has got to be the one with the bird! I am going to buy all the starcoin ones as well. I think they are fairly priced as well! I rate this 4.5/5.

I love that jacket at the top - i will probably buy it and that skirt is quite nice but now i look at that dress again and i actually don't like it that much! :/ Some shoes are nice aswell but i will only buy shoes if they are in stardollars. I wish stardoll did starcoin archive things aswell. I will rate these floors 3.5/5!
